This Optimus Prime is just like the original toy, complete with trailer! The "Missing Link" series kicks off to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the birth of Transformers! This revolutionary design takes the original plastic and metal Optimus Prime action figure and answers the question "what if he were super-poseable?" The size, conversion, and basic composition using some die-cast metal parts follow the original Optimus Prime toy.

The ideal Convoy commander toy has been updated with movable joints for posing and gimmicks drawn in animation. Even the packaging and accessories are expertly crafted to match the 1984 toy from Hasbro and Takara. You don't even have to remove his fists to change Optimus Prime from robot to truck modes! An Autobot Matrix of Leadership can be stored in the chest, just like in 1986' Transformers: The Movie. His fists have movable fingers, so you can remove the matrix and hold it in his hands. The anti-aircraft gun in the container can be separated from the container and rolled to run, just like in the anime. The reconnaissance buggy Roller has a warning light drawn in the anime by reversing the rear part. The laser rifle has been changed to a specification where the original grip part is inserted into the fist. The Energy Axe, which you might remember from the battle on the dam in "More Than Meets the Eye," is also included and can be attached to his fist. In addition, a red transparent "secret film" is included, and the play that can be deciphered by overlaying it on the tech spec chart printed on the back of the package.

The familiar "Secret Emblem" rubsign is also attached to the robot body, and when you warm it with your finger, the faction symbol will appear. The robot body was sculpted into a three-dimensional form, which was a two-dimensional expression with stickers in 1984. A joint hole for an optional stand is added to the back of the Optimus Prime figure, allowing you to pose it like the original toy, the original packaging art, or a new position of your choosing. Two types of number plates user stickers that can reproduce the Japanese box art and overseas box art of the time are added, and a newly designed collection card is also included. Don't miss it!

MINTY FRESH
Standard Grade

Almost everything that arrives in our warehouse is considered standard grade. Minty Fresh packaging is what you expect to find straight on the shelves at your big box store. They may include minor corner dents, small creases, or scrapes, but not enough that it takes away from the overall appearance of the packaging. Minty Fresh is perfect for opening, displaying, or giving as a gift.

NEAR MINT
Sub-Standard Grade

Figures that are "Near Mint" just fall outside our realm of "mint condition".  This can include multiple corner dings, creases, and scratches on the bubble.  This product is meant to be opened, but is not so damaged that you would feel weird giving it as a gift.  

The name says it all-these toys are more BEAT UP than Rocky after his fight with Apollo, but the figure and accessories are NOT damaged.  These toys are meant to be opened and should not be given as gifts.  It's a great way to save a couple of dollars if you are a 100% "Loosey" collector!

GEM MINT
Collectors Grade

For the collector who is looking for "Gem Mint" packaging, this is the way to go. This packaging is flawless, but also rare, which is why we don't offer this as a standard option. If you are looking for a product in Collectors Grade, contact us at info@nerdzoic.com and we will inspect our inventory. If we find something that we deem "Gem Mint" we will send you a photo for review.  

If we have something that we deem to be that quality, we will send it to you for the "Minty Fresh" price.  We recommend that you add a FigureSheild to it to keep it safe during travel, but it is NOT required.
